How do I start driving with OberCab?

Who is eligible to drive?

Both taxi operator work permit holders and operation permit holders can drive with OberCab. You’ll also need a valid commercial driving license (95) and completion of a taxi driving course. OberCab provides guidance and support to help you meet these requirements.

How do I start driving?
To begin driving with OberCab, simply download the OberCab driver app and complete your registration. Once you’ve submitted your details, our team will guide you through the verification process with the Icelandic Transport Authority. After approval, you’ll complete a quick onboarding session and can immediately start accepting rides through the app. The entire process is designed to get you on the road and earning as quickly as possible, with OberCab’s support at every step.

How do I start driving with OberCab?

Who is eligible to drive?
Both taxi operator work permit holders and operation permit holders can drive with OberCab. You’ll also need the proper driving licenses such as a commercial driving license (95) and to have completed a specific taxi driving course. OberCab provides information and assistance with these processes.

How do I start driving?
If you have all the required permits, you only need contact OberCab team for signing the agreement and applying to the Icelandic Transport Authority. When the authorities have confirmed the registration. Then you’ll be contacted by the OberCab team to download the OberCab Driver app and sign up. With instructions on how to proceed and register yourself or your car with OberCab. Then you can begin driving with OberCab.
